Exploring the thoughts and creative concepts of a number of artistically-minded individuals, A Common Thread Exhibition will encompass a wide variety of media and themes including paintings, drawings, photography, pottery, animated film, textile art and more. It is a celebration of the diversity and artistic talents of the BRAG Volunteers Art Group, coming together in the spirit of a common thread.

City To Coast Community Bike Ride

The City To Coast Community Bike Ride is not a race but a chance to have a relaxed ride and enjoy the scenery of the coastal area and the sea. The route closely follows the Burnett River before turning inland and continuing through cane and small crop fields, and eventually making its way to the Esplanade.

Bundaberg Regional Show
29 - 31 May 2013
The Bundaberg Regional Show will have entertainment for all the family, including sideshows, an animal nursery, displays of crafts, horse & cattle shows, woodchop exhibitions and lots of food outlets for everyone's enjoyment. With the new motorcycle displays, snake shows and Sideshow Alley, the show will have something to keep everyone entertained.

Bundaberg Volunteer Marine Rescue Family Fishing Classic

Get ready for an exciting weekend as the tenth annual Volunteer Marine Rescue Family Fishing Classic is held in Bundaberg in 2013. The main objective of the event is to aid Volunteer Marine Rescue Bundaberg (VMRB) and promote safe boating and sustainable fishing practices in order to encourage juniors as the fishermen and women of the future. Promoting businesses in the region and offering entertainment for the family, all funds raised will go towards VMRB.

Over 50,000 people converge on the small town to celebrate the weekend long festival which starts with a street party and ends with a gastronomical affair that provides the opportunity to taste different cuisines from around the world! You will find that one dish of food is simply never enough!

The Bargara Stawberry Fair is approaching its second year, and like last year, this year's event has so much to offer. There will be oodles of food, crazy characters, lolly chases, wild 'n' wacky competitions, plenty of giveaways, amusement rides, strawberries-strawberries-strawberries, and an amazing atmosphere. Don't miss this fun-filled family day!

Wide Bay Australia International Airshow
24 - 25 August 2013
The Wide Bay Australia International Air Show is a two day extravaganza for aviation enthusiasts featuring aircraft from a bygone era, including aircraft from WWII, right up to the present day. Held on Saturday and Sunday both days are devoted to aerobatic and other displays of aircraft from pre-war through to the latest RAAF aircraft such as the Super Hornet. The Air Show also features innovative ground acts such as Jet Trucks and other exciting displays and also present visitors with the opportunity to get up "close and personal" with Warbirds and their pilots. There will be food and drink available and various stalls will be available on site.

Crush Festival

The 2013 Crush Festival marks the fifth year of celebrating regional arts and showcasing high quality arts and culture in the Bundaberg region. The Bundaberg region is an arts hub with many practicing artists in a variety of forms living, breathing and working in their region to create a vibrant arts and cultural scene. The Crush Festival is a whole month dedicated to showcasing arts and cultural practice and providing professional development opportunities for both the artists that reside there and in regional Queensland. You can explore lots of different art forms including digital work, street art, film, exhibitions, workshops, ceramics, writing and have a variety of artistic experiences all in the one month.
